As leading capacity-building providers in the growing field of multi-entity operations, in 2024, The Capacity Shop (TCS) and New Left Accelerator (NLA) crafted the Election Readiness Course (ERC): Bold & Safe program to support staff at multi-entity organizations with the critical ingredients needed to assess risk and implement new strategies and structures with legal compliance.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the fall 2025 ERC: Bold & Safe Comprehensive Program!

ERC: Bold & Safe program offers a broad and deep operational and compliance-focused program packed with powerful tools, practical strategies and real-world compliance tips for organizations navigating multi-entity work across the U.S. 


Perfect for:

  • Multi-entity social justice organizations invested in growing their operational capacity to deliver bolder and safer programs in 2026 and 2027.
  • Multi-entity infrastructure organizations that support grassroots, communications or organizing groups.
  • Operational or compliance leads invested in developing new skills and knowledge to help their organization develop a culture of compliance to lead bold and safe power-building campaigns.
  • U.S.-based, multi-entity organizations serving a geographic audience within the U.S. in multiple states, regions, or territories that need support in maintaining compliance across multiple compliance law landscapes.

We understand that California has uniquely strict campaign and compliance laws, which makes it essential to offer a course that helps organizations like yours navigate the state’s complex regulatory landscape with confidence.

This year, we’re offering a customized pilot program tailored to multi-entity organizations based and/or serving California groups. 

This course includes the core Bold & Safe program + CA legal compliance & policy lens that weaves a state-based, California compliance education with the core Bold & Safe program offerings.

Fall 2025 ERC: Bold & Safe Course


The ERC program is a 3-month virtual learning experience that delivers an operations-focused curriculum rooted in multi-entity expertise. It equips leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to confidently guide their organizations through complex challenges while implementing bold, compliant strategies.

The Fall 2025 course runs from Tuesday, September 2 to Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Who this course is for & qualifications


If you oversee operational compliance for your multi-entity organization, then this course is designed with you in mind!

Qualified applicants must work for a social justice multi-entity organization that fits all of the following characteristics:

  1. Operating an already established multi-entity organizational structure.
  2. Is based in & serves constituents within the continental U.S. & territories.
  3. Is engaged in programmatic strategies that require the use of multiple legal structures with legal compliance in 2026-2027 (i.e. political education, campaign organizing & voter engagement).
  4. Applicant is an operational leader in compliance, finance, and/or operations.
  5. Applicant has the capacity to commit to approximately 90 minutes a week for 11 weeks of full program activities (see participant expectations).
